A large decorative foliage plant is a wonderful decoration for a hall and living room. At home it reaches a height of 1.5 m. Leaves on long strong petioles 40-90 cm long.
The leaf blade of adult leaves is glossy, leathery, heart-shaped, up to 90 cm long and up to 70 cm wide, deeply dissected into lobes, with uneven, as if curly edges.
In greenhouse culture it blooms, with artificial pollination it bears fruit. Prefers a bright place protected from direct sunlight, tolerates partial shade.
Watering in summer is regular and abundant, moderate in winter. The temperature in winter is not lower than +12..+18°C. The soil mixture is made up of leaf, coniferous soil, peat and sand (1:1:1:0.5).
Seeds are sown in pots, lightly covered with soil. The planting container is covered with glass, and the soil is kept moist.
